Dean Friedman

This was taken at one of Dean’s regular UK tours. I’ve loved his music and lyrics ever since my friend Greg introduced me to his 1978 album “Well, Well,” Said the Rocking Chair. His unique singing voice, piano and guitar style, and intelligent, witty lyrics are, for me, something rare and special. Despite having a string of hits in the late 70’s (Ariel, Lucky Stars, Lydia) he is not as well known as he should be and plays mainly smaller venues, including here in the UK. He’s an extremely likeable character and always takes time to chat after his shows.
