La Bellemer

This faithful Fairline 43/45 Flybridge, with twin-caterpillar engines, was the mainstay of our family holidays for more than a decade. We kept her in Beaulieu-sur-Mer in the South of France (pictured here in her regular berth). A typical day would begin with me in the engine bay checking the oil and getting extremely hot and sweaty. Family and friends would arrive shortly before lunch armed with provisions and we would make our way out into the bay to anchor, swim and enjoy a leisurely lunch. As the light began to fade we would make our way back into the marina, wash down the deck, open a bottle of champagne, watch the sun go down and then make our way to the African Queen for dinner.
